A New Experience for Brands from Twitter: Get Ready for 3D Product Ads
The e-commerce experience is becoming more innovative and comprehensive by the day. Twitter is also preparing to enter this world and is getting ready to offer its users the "Product Explorer" feature, where products are displayed in 3D.
In a blog post, Twitter announced that it wants to bring more interaction and dynamic storytelling to the platform, and outlined the details of three new ad products based on that goal. He explained that the service will appear in iOS, Android and web versions.
In these omnibus ads, brands can redirect users to a landing page or website. If users want to purchase the brand's product, they can click the "Shop Now" button at the bottom and go to the landing page or website specified by the brand to make their purchase.
The content has a larger font than the classic tweet view and is displayed in such a way that the website anchor link can be added with interactive 3D technology as an image/video post or as a carousel.
The feature aims to encourage the user to buy and learn more about the brand. In recent months, Twitter has begun testing the Stores button, which allows brands to showcase their products on their profiles. At the moment, only New Balance, Lexus and Bose are among the companies testing this feature, but soon all brands will be able to market their products on Twitter.
