A Sustainable Step From Coors Light Worldwide

Brands that are becoming more and more sustainable, value ecological balance and carry out marketing activities with this precision are increasing.

Recently, the Coors Light brand announced that it will switch to fully recyclable packaging in an effort to become the largest beer brand in North America. Marcelo Pascoa, the brand's marketing manager VP, commented, "We believe that buying beer should not be synonymous with buying plastic. That's why we are taking a step to make the packaging even more sustainable," he said.

The brand will remove plastic rings from its packaging worldwide. And later this year, it will switch to fully recyclable and sustainable cardboard packaging.  The new sustainable packaging will be unveiled at the Plastic-Free Future Mart, a pop-up concept store in New York City. With this decision, the brand will save 1.7 million pounds of plastic waste annually.

The brand's CEO, Gavin Hattersley, commented, "Just as Coors uses recyclable aluminum cans, Coors Light will lead the industry in North America by moving away from single-use plastic rings.
