Airbnb Is Renting the House from Pixar's "Up" Animation

Airbnb adapted Shrek's house in the swamp from animation to real life and made it available to its users. This time, the company took inspiration from Pixar's animation "Up" and turned the dream house into reality.

Located in Abiquiu, Mexico, the house comes straight out of an animation studio, offering a literal experience equipped with thousands of balloons and promising to leave guests suspended 50 feet in the air. Airbnb's Icons initiative takes a bold step into pop culture, allowing guests to immerse themselves in worlds once limited only to screens and dreams.

Carl Fredricksen, one of the iconic characters of the animation, also has a note for visitors: "I generally don't like visitors; I prefer to see you when Dug and I are at home. If you come, you can stay in the warm house that I built with my dear Ellie." "This place used to be a dump, but the wonderful Ellie and I have spruced up this house. We've decorated it with items from all our trips. I'm a little old for adventure now. If you stay here, you can only stay one night. Don't get too comfortable," the note continues.
