Coca Cola in Metaverse Flavor

Coca-Cola has launched its new drink, 'Flavour of Pixels' Zero Sugar Byte, in the Metaverse world. Although it is now virtually located in the Fortnite universe, it is physically scheduled to meet with the consumer in May.

 

In Fortnite, the popular game from Epic Games, a special island called Pixel Point is created. Players who visit this island will be able to experience and play Coca-Cola games there. Besides the games, there are additional processes that hide treasures that players can discover and collect.

 

The taste of the drink is described as "bright and clear, with a refreshing finish reminiscent of cheering at a game." The packaging graphics are designed with green 8-bit pixels that form the iconic Coca-Cola logo. Consumers can access the augmented reality game, which tells the story of BYTE, by scanning the Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Byte packaging on the Coca-Cola Creation website.

Oana Vlad, senior strategy director, said, "Zero Sugar Byte embodies the abstract flavour of pixels," about their new products they just launched, which they describe as 'The Aroma of Pixels.'  "Coca-Cola supports the players," he said.

The company continues to take creative and successful steps in various areas from a Generation Z perspective. Previously, AR filters and ASMR experiences were used in the Coca-Cola Starlight campaign. Special apparel products were designed in collaboration with Staple. Coca-Cola Zero Suger Byte, the first flavor from the Metaverse, will hit shelves in America on May 2. However, it is not yet known when the product will be available in Turkey.
