Tensions and disputes have led to the removal of Co-Founder and Chairman Greg Bockman from the administration, who has also resigned upon this move. Employees of OpenAI, upon the removal of Altman, have signed a letter threatening to quit. The board found the resolution by appointing Shear to the CEO position.
