TikTok's Upcoming Features Are Set to Dethrone Instagram
After TikTok took the world by storm, many updates and changes were made on other social media platforms. At the beginning of these, Instagram, although it was only a photo-sharing application at first, adapted similar features to itself in order not to be among its audience and not to be left behind. With the new features of TikTok on the way, it is already a matter of curiosity what kind of change there will be on Instagram.
TikTok recently announced "Photo Mode," a new feature that enables users to include up to 35 photos in a single shared post. Additionally, the images can have music added to them so long as the images are not manually scrolled; in this case, the images will change in time with the music. TikTok is also getting ready to support texts of up to 2200 characters in photo and video content, allowing users to add longer descriptions.
Against Violent Discourses "Confirmation" Movement
TikTok, which is preparing to launch a campaign against this situation in response to the recent increase in the spread of hate speech and false news, has signed a campaign in collaboration with the news verification organization teyit.org. The campaign, which provides instructions on how to confirm their information, aims to draw attention to the correct information sharing with the #Teyitçiyim hashtag and has already received 20 million views.
