Usernames will be auctioned

Elon Musk announced in a tweet in December that inactive accounts on the platform will be deleted and 1.5 billion usernames will be made available.

The web will soon feature a "For You" interface.

The "For You" interface, which was also built following Elon Musk's takeover of Twitter and made available on iOS devices, is now available on web browsers.

The 'For You' interface replaced the'sparkle' symbol, which previously allowed users to navigate between algorithmically created and reverse chronological feeds on the platform. This interface, which is already accessible on iOS devices, will be the default view once the upgraded web browser is available.
