Twitter's First "Edited Tweet" Experiment and "CoTweet" Feature on the Way
Twitter's First "Edited Tweet" Experiment and "CoTweet" Feature on the Way
Twitter, which allows users to change and edit their tweets, announced in recent weeks that it has begun testing the first version of its new feature. The feature, whose testing phase was completed by a team, showed users the first edited Tweet and stated, "This Tweet was posted to see if the edit button is working." This feature, which was initially only available to Twitter Blue members, allows you to edit the Tweet up to 5 times within 30 minutes of posting it. While typing the last updated date and time in the lower left corner of the edited Tweet, edit history information is displayed.
Another upcoming feature, CoTweet, allows users to Tweet together. This feature, which can only be used by people in the testing phase, is permitted to be used with people who follow you or whose accounts are public. The draft of the joint tweet, which was created before it was posted, is directed to the person to whom it will be posted. If the other person finds it appropriate and approves, the sharing is automatically published across two accounts. If the other user refuses to share, Twitter states that the draft of the tweet to be sent will be deleted.
The the last new feature that Twitter has planned is the ability for community administrators to create custom sound fields within their own groups. It will only be visible within the group, allowing community administrators to launch a topic- or community-specific live chat for improved interaction and referral.
