Energy Drink Inspired by Generation Z: BOOMer

Recruitment firm Young Capital has come up with an unusual advertising campaign. The company has adopted an engaging and provocative marketing strategy for a limited-edition energy drink called "BOOMer." Developed by Amsterdam-based agencies Ace and Hamlet, the campaign is directed by Angelo Cerisara, who takes an unorthodox approach and aims to provoke a strong reaction from viewers.

The campaign offers viewers both a visual and emotional experience. In the commercial, the idea that Generation Z's energy is drawn from a physical source is supported by exaggerated and disgusting visuals. However, this fictional scenario is irrelevant to the actual content of the energy drink. BOOMer contains traditional ingredients such as raspberry, rhubarb, carbonic acid, and cayenne pepper.

Angelo Cerisara says he balanced the creative tone of the campaign between “fashion, weirdness, horror and coolness.” “The visual gross-out factor first creates a reaction in the body and then affects the mind. It's a powerful way to get attention,” the director says, emphasizing that this approach is effective for an increasingly desensitized audience.
