New AR Lenses Added to Snapchat

Many preparations and new ideas have emerged as Halloween has drawn near. Snapchat, a social media application, introduced new concept products to users this year, as it does every year.

Offering a new experience to users, Snapchat gives them the opportunity to try on Halloween costumes through AR lenses. The opportunities include the ability to take photos of their entire bodies while wearing the costumes, share them with friends via Snaps, and purchase the costume. According to research, users who have had the opportunity to see the costumes of many different movies and TV series on themselves show that 80% of individuals will use the application during Halloween, 64% will buy something new for the holiday, and 56% will be inspired when planning celebrations. It was concluded that they applied to consult their friends on their behalf.

New AR experiences have been announced for the Austin City Limits Music Festival, which will take place from October 7-9 and October 14-16. AR Compass functions as a compass, guiding users to food, water, and stages via GPS over a 3D map. The Bitmoji pin inside the compass allows users to see their actual location as well as where they are on the map in the festival area.

ACL Armadillo, ACL Art Scene, and ACL World are additional AR features for the festival.

Chopard, a Swiss luxury model house, promoted their new collection, My Happy Hearts, using Snapchat's AR lenses. The brand has collaborated with creative studio Busterwood and media agency Keyade to allow customers to try on jewelry before visiting the store.
