New Features announced by Meta

Meta announced its new features designed for content producers at the Creator Week event in London. Many content producers from Turkey also participated in the event that took place within the scope of "Creators of Tomorrow." The expansion of the NFT sharing feature on Instagram to cover Europe, as well as ways to generate new revenues on Facebook and Instagram, are among the innovations announced at the event.

Adam Mosseri, the CEO of Instagram, welcomed the content producers at the event and gave the following words in his statement:

"Creators are invaluable to Instagram in pushing it forward with their amazing content and inspiring people to be creative. I think the importance of content creators will increase as power continues to shift from institutions to individuals."

Meta introduced NFT sharing in many countries in recent months, and more European countries can now use this feature as well. After connecting their digital wallets to Instagram, content creators will be able to share their purchased or created NFTs on the app. Meta has chosen to broaden the NFT genres shared on Instagram and now allows users to share video and animation NFTs. OpenSea collections will be accessible via Instagram, with compatibility for Trust Wallet, MetaMask, Polygon, Solana blockchain systems, Ethereum, Flow, Rainbow, Coinbase Wallet, Dapper, and Phantom digital wallets.

This Meta feature, which provides the "Subscription" option on Instagram in the United States, has been used by celebrities such as Alan Chow, Skai Jackson, and Cole Sprouse. Instagram is getting ready to test the "Subscription" feature in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

"Stars" is another Meta feature that is still in testing with a certain number of people throughout the world. Due to various publicly available content, Meta, which will make this feature available to everyone, including Facebook Reels, will facilitate awareness and discovery of the "Stars" feature. Furthermore, new features are being developed that will allow content providers to earn "Stars" and engage with senders more simply. There is a chance to win a "virtual gift" particular for selected content at the start of these features.

Another announced feature is that Meta allows both content producers and licensed music owners to make income. The licensed music used in videos uploaded on Facebook for 60 seconds or longer, as well as the revenue generated by these videos through in-stream ads, will be split between both parties.

Meta's final feature is as follows: This feature, called "Professional Mode," is available on Facebook. Those that use this function will have the opportunity to earn money through advertisements, Stars, and Reels. Play on Facebook Reels.
