YouTube creators will now be able to save music from Shorts feed and use it as audio on different platforms.

Until now, creators have had to take circuitous routes to save music in Shorts. YouTube recognized the challenge and decided to offer a simpler way for creators. 

Given the importance of music for digital content, the new feature is said to offer a shortcut for creators, which could boost the content on the platform.
