Allianz's Initiative to Support Young Paralympic Athletes
Allianz's Initiative to Support Young Paralympic Athletes
Allianz is an Olympic and Paralympic movement partner and financial assistance provider. Allianz wants to encourage more disabled youth to participate in sports by launching a digital training series with the leadership of Paralympic sportsmanship. The campaign's strategy, which was based on the idea that people, particularly young people, acted less owing to the pandemic time, resulted in the creation of the "MoveNow" program.
It was announced that more than half of the film crew working on the campaign consisted of individuals with disabilities. Another insight that led to the creation of the initiative is that getting started is the hardest part for athletes. This is meant to educate and inspire the next generation through the development of movies on a microsite and the sharing of personal fitness journeys.
Allianz's Global Head of Paralympic and Olympic Program Management, Eike Bürgel, said in a statement:
"There is a growing gap when it comes to inclusion and accessibility in sport and beyond. Through our partnership with IPC, we will continue to stand behind the hopes, challenges, and needs of the paraathlete community by creating a pathway to participation for people with disabilities and inspiring young people to be active."
The important markets for the campaign include England, Ireland, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Australia, Italy, and France.
