Billboard on Mars!

The British sustainable fashion brand Vollebak showed off its new 3D logo on a billboard made to look like it was on Mars and made out of NASA materials.

Although it is currently impossible to display the billboard on Mars, it has become one of the most important examples of extraterrestrial advertising in the out-of-home advertising category.

The ad billboard, made up of 11 interlocking pieces, was inspired by a Japanese joinery technique called Tsugite. It was designed to be easily assembled and disassembled by any robot that will go to Mars. Therefore, the pieces can be easily mounted and separated.

The billboard is made of hard anodized aluminum, which is also used in NASA's Mars Curiosity Rover to withstand the harsh conditions on Mars. The laser-cut stainless steel billboard stands on a leg and measures 65 cm in length, 45 cm in height, and weighs 27.55 kg.
