According to data obtained worldwide from the iOS and Android platforms, the ChatGPT app was downloaded 15.6 million times in September, generating a gross revenue of 4.6 million dollars.

Starting with 2.1 million dollars in June, this rise reached 2.74 million dollars in July and 3.81 million dollars in August. In September, it peaked at 4.58 million dollars. This demonstrates the impactful performance ChatGPT has showcased in such a short time.

However, despite this success, ChatGPT is not the leader in terms of revenue in the industry. According to the latest data from Appfigures, ChatGPT's competitor, Ask AI, earned a revenue of 6.48 million dollars in May and raised this figure to 6.55 million dollars in August. Despite the fact that it decreased to $5.51 million in September, this amount is still higher than ChatGPT's revenue.

Intensive advertising investments may be behind Ask AI's revenue increase. Tech enthusiasts and industry professionals closely monitor the positions of both artificial intelligence platforms in the market.
