Domino's Raises Quality Standards With Simon Cowell
Domino's, which supports its branch teams with quality control officers after receiving negative feedback on issues such as toppings and sauce placement on its pizzas in the US market, introduces its new practice in collaboration with Simon Cowell, the picky judge of competitions such as American Idol and The X Factor.
In the campaign by WorkInProgress, Cowell, who adds another one of his talents under the roof of Domino's, comments on the pizzas prepared by the kitchen staff with great honesty.
Stating that they have observed an increase in complaints through social media and customer feedback, Domino's Chief Brand Officer Kate Trumbull said, “Like most quick service restaurants during the Covid era, we had problems such as labor shortages and high volumes, and this demand put pressure on services. So we brought all franchisees together to retrain them on quality and bring service times back to pre-Covid levels.”
