Football Flavoring Shirts
In Italy, where football teams have begun to unveil their new season kits and sponsors, Heinz took a different path from the brands that wanted to appear on the kits. Joining forces with Kappa, the brand turned its face off the pitch, not on it, and brought the jersey to the veteran team that prepares food for thousands of football fans around the stadiums every week.
Inspired by Calcio Mangiato, this year Heinz launched its brand platform Proud Sponsor of Calcio Mangiato, honoring the unsung heroes who make sandwiches around the San Siro Stadium (Giuseppe Meazza) in the stands. The collaboration between DUDE Milano, Heinz, and Kappa brings football and food together with fashion, presenting sandwich makers with a special apron resembling a football jersey.
The jersey-like kitchen apron has a pattern like Heinz ketchup. Reminiscent of football jerseys with its white collar and Kappa stripes on the sides, the jersey-apron bears the number 57, and the Paninari Football Club logo on the chest about the brand heritage. The jersey front with security laces is heat-resistant and stain-resistant.
