Pepsi MAX launched “Refresh the Game,” a global campaign that reinterprets 50 years of soccer heritage. The campaign brings together today's stars of women's soccer and those who have left their mark on soccer history to recreate Pepsi MAX's most memorable soccer moments.

As women's soccer becomes one of the fastest-growing sports on the planet, with record ratings and increased participation worldwide, Pepsi MAX is determined to be part of this transformation. The campaign features globally recognized names like Lauren James, Leah Williamson, Alexia Putellas, Caroline Graham Hansen and Farah Jefry rewriting the rules of soccer.

In the opening scene of the campaign, Alexia Putellas, Lauren James, Caroline Graham Hansen, and Farah Jefry are at a press conference when they are suddenly transported to legendary moments of the past. In a scene from the 1974 movie “Join the Pepsi Generation,” Alexia takes the field with Pele. Receiving Pele's pass, Alexia demonstrates her mastery of the ball with a graceful “rainbow flick” over the opponent.
