A new feature coming to Grok, X's AI-based assistant, allows users to verify whether the information in posts they encounter is true or not.

To verify information that the user thinks may be false or inaccurate, the user tags Grok in the post and asks a question like, “Grok, is this true?”

Responding to the user's question, Grok shares his opinion on the accuracy of the information in question based on the sources available to it. Although it seems like a practical feature, experts warn that Grok's assessment cannot be fully trusted.
