The beloved pizza brand Papa John's has introduced a new initiative in the United Kingdom, offering consumers a different way to meet their garlic needs. Taking action on April 19th, National Garlic Day, the pizza chain launched garlic butter candles that function as a sauce.

These candles, serving a different purpose than ordinary household candles, are designed based on Papa John's classic sauce pots. The most interesting feature of the candles is that the beeswax is edible and turns into a creamy sauce for pizzas.

The candles contain melted butter, various herbs, and garlic. The butter candle idea first trended on the TikTok platform in 2022, so it's not an original idea belonging to the brand. Nevertheless, this idea, which helps consumers melt the pizza cheese, seems to have drawn quite a high interest.
